Last year, I had the opportunity to work within the University of Oregon’s lifestyle and fashion publication, Align Magazine, as an art director. Within my role, I coordinated photographers, writers, designers, and stylists to execute a cohesive layout that matched the magazine’s termly theme. I have had experience where the writer and I struggled to construct a coherent theme between our two pitches. However, we were able to communicate and develop a complimentary visual and written spread that matches the magazine’s spread.
