CRITICAL THINKING
How does photography and critical thinking tie together?In terms of critical thinking, photography is beyond capturing an image. It is the deliberate physical composition of angles, lighting, and subject placement to capture the best photograph. With regards to this photoshoot, my friend Serena Shin and I were struggling to compose high quality images with poor lighting. We utilized minimal light rays, the physical landscape, and heavy editing to develop an editorial snapshot that communicates the aesthetics of the late 19th century American West.
